100 things you didn't really need to know about me!
1. My birthday is March 16th. 2. I learned to read when I was three years old. 3. I don't like wearing dresses or skirts 4. I love wearing low heeled, elastic sided boots. 5. I got my first camera when I was 9 years old. 6. I have never drank milk or milk based drinks. 7. I left school at age 15. 8. My favourite book of all time is Ken Follett's "Pillars of the Earth". 9. I don't watch television. 10. I like plain, gold jewellery. 11. I am married to an American but have never been to the USA. 12. I have very fair skin and sunburn in minutes. 13. I have broken two bones; one in my foot and one in my hand. 14. I would rather wear a cast on my arm than use crutches. 15. I have successfully sued Safeway. 16. My husband, eldest son and youngest daughter all share the same birthday. 17. My favourite fruit is the rambutan. 18. I have no interest in politics at all; local, national or world. 19. I got married for the first time when I was 19. 20. I got married for the second time when I was 39. 21. I consider telephones to be a necessary evil. 22. I like having email buddies and getting emails from them. 23. I am descended from convicts who came to Australia on the First Fleet in 1788. 24. My husband is my best friend. 25. I like coming home from work when no one else is home. 26. My favourite drink is fresh brewed coffee. 27. I love reading newspapers but hardly ever have time. 28. I am estranged from my parents and like it that way 29. I am the only female employee at my workplace. 30. I have visited ten countries. 31. I have no ambitions to be a professional photographer. 32. I live on the longest road in Australia. 33. I live within walking distance of where I work. 34. I hate going to the hairdressers. 35. I don't like buying new clothes or shoes. 36. I don't like science fiction or science fantasy movies or books. 37. The only time in my life I ever had a migraine headache it lasted for ten days. 38. I love eating hot toast with crunchy peanut butter. 39. I was born in a bush nursing hospital. 40. I like Australian country music. 41. My family hates my choice in music. 42. I used to play classical guitar but have not played it in over 20 years. 43. I have a very low opinion of women who seek alimony from their ex-husbands. 44. I like knowing "guy stuff" about computers. 45. I don't like electric kitchen appliances except the kettle and the toaster. 46. I can write neatly and legibly with both hands. 47. My first digital camera was a no-name brand 640x480 piece of crap that I bought for $199 and sold 18 months later for $159. 48. My favourite childhood memories are of staying at my grandparents sheep station in the NSW outback. 49. I don't drink alcohol and yet for three years I managed a liquor store. 50. I am more inclined to treat food as fuel for the body rather than an experience for the taste buds. 51. I prefer silence to inane chatter or background music. 52. I don't like people reading out loud to me. 53. I wear Lou Lou perfume. 54. My second digital camera was a Fuji MX-500 which I bought 2nd hand on eBay and sold 18 months later for the same price I paid for it. 55. I don't like sports of any kind. 56. I love living on a major highway. 57. My website is a great source of pride for me and I keep it updated regularly. 58. I have learned to hang up the phone on telemarketers. 59. I don't like people who interrupt conversations. 60. I would like to live in Tasmania. 61. I have the ability to retain a lot of information about certain subjects. 62. I don't like being dependant on other people. 63. I would rather read a good book or take photos than do just about anything else. 64. I don't like having nothing to do. 65. I have one set of grandparents who are still living and have been married for over 65 years. 66. I have no interest in outer space, extra terrestrials or space craft. 67. I hate shopping and I especially hate browsing in shops. I always know exactly what I want to get, buy it and leave. 68. I have an excellent memory for names and details but I can never remember phone numbers. 69. I am never late for anything and have no patience for people who are. 70. I am not scared of spiders or snakes. 71. My right kidney is located in my pelvis but works perfectly. 72. I am an internet junkie. 73. I don't particularly like other peoples small children. 74. My favourite photography book is Steve Parish's "Photograph Australia" 75. When I'm bored I write really long emails to some of my friends. 76. I love entering online photo challenges, and sometimes I win them. 77. I have none of my photography displayed anywhere in our house. 78. I like visiting Melbourne but wouldn't want to live there. 79. My second favourite book is Bryce Courtney's "The Power of One". 80. All of my four children were born a few weeks early. 81. I love being married. 82. When I was a teenager, I saw Abba live in concert. 83. I used to sell antique china and glass on eBay. 84. My computer gets upgraded every few months. 85. The biggest surprise I got last year was when a friend sent me a Canon 35mm f2 lens. 86. I don't like people calling in unexpectedly. 87. My husband brings me coffee in bed every morning. What a guy! 88. I wear graduated lens glasses, another term for which is bifocals. 89. I started working fulltime at age 15 in a newsagency. 90. I have no sense of direction, get lost easily and can't read a map. 91. My favourite stage show was "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat". 92. I don't cry easily and I am not very sentimental. 93. When I was 16 I appeared on a TV program and decided I never wanted to become an actress. 94. In 2000, I went to a class reunion intending to stay for only an hour. I stayed six hours and had a great time. 95. If I were six inches taller, I'd be the perfect weight for my height. 96. I like buying stuff from online dealers because it means I don't have to go to a real store. 97. I feel less guilty when I order a diet coke with a Big Mac. 98. I have the ability to completely shut out the world when I have my face buried in a good book. 99. One day I waxed my husbands bare leg while he was sleeping in a chair. He levitated. 100. I never, ever run out of things to say ;-)
