"Benson"

Hevnsent Darktown Strutter. Date of birth: 02/03/2007

Benson arrived here in May 2007 as a 10 week old ball of fuzz, and proceeded to enchant everyone with his charm and his cool, calm and collected demeanour. He was our first introduction to this amazing breed and we couldn't have had a better beginning. Benson is everyone's friend, first in line to try anything new and the best cuddler in the world!

He has grown into a beautifully balanced dog with the most amazingly smooth gait and a temperament to die for. He is quite possibly the nicest, friendliest dog I have ever met and he's a delight to take anywhere. He loves food treats, but he loves toys more....and he especially loves squeaky fluffy toys. His favourite game is tug and anyone who plays it with him is a friend for life and will find themselves the recipient of any manner of lovely, slobbered on toys for continuing the game.

Benson and I take part in obedience classes each Saturday morning at the Gippsland Dog Obedience Club and in the not-too-distant future, we intend to try our hand at obedience trialling.

"Dusty"

Tuscamada Tahoe Rose. Date of birth: 16/12/2007

We were so thrilled to have Benson in our lives that we decided to find him a playmate. Dusty arrived from South Australia on February 11, 2008, a tiny, tiny bundle of fluff with the prettiest of markings and the sweetest of natures. In April 2008, Dusty set foot in the show ring and there began a whole new interest for the family.

Dusty is a different temperament to Benson, she is a little more reserved around strangers but once she knows you, she loves you to bits! Dusty is a bit of a foodaholic, nothing is safe when she's around and she's mastered the art of laying a paw on the arm of someone who's eating food she'd like to taste and giving them a soulful stare with those big brown puppy-dog eyes. She usually wangles more than a few crumbs her way! She's also quite keen on her bed, especially on cold winter mornings when she simply burrows deeper rather than set foot on the cold floor.

Dusty is Bryden's obedience partner and together they've moved from puppy class, to beginners then graduated to class one.
